In her latest article, Nyree Applegarth, Head of Property Litigation discusses what to include in a tenancy agreement from 1 May 2026.

Whilst pre-existing tenancy agreements remain valid, key changes introduced after 1 May mean that even if, under a pre-existing agreement, a tenant had a fixed-term tenancy (so they knew the start date and end date for their tenancy), those tenancies have now all been converted to become rolling monthly or weekly periodic agreements with no set end date.

This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week.

We're thinking of every family who has lost a baby, and every baby who is so deeply missed.

Our team is supporting a family who lost their baby daughter shortly after birth. The family is grieving and searching for answers about the maternity care they received. No family should have to carry those questions alone.

If someone you know is grieving, small things can mean a great deal: listening, remembering important dates, or simply saying their baby's name.

If you have concerns about your own maternity care, our specialist team is here to listen.
