A tree was removed, including digging down and removing the remaining roots.

I also trimmed the surrounding hedges and cleared everything away, leaving the garden looking much tidier and more manageable. 👌

🔨 A Couple of Handyman Jobs This Morning!

🪟 Curtain pole repair – the pole had come away from the wall, so I securely refitted it.

🛁 Bath silicone replacement – the old silicone had started to fail and had mould around it. I removed the old sealant, cleaned everything up and applied a fresh new bead of silicone.

With the weather getting cooler and the rain returning, the gardens are starting to grow again!

This garden was in need of a good tidy-up, so I got it back under control with:

🌱 Grass cut and edges tidied
🌸 Flower beds weeded
🌿 Hedges trimmed
🧹 General garden tidy-up

The cable trunking above the windows had come loose and was hanging down, having previously been held in place with silicone.

I securely fixed the existing trunking in multiple places using screws, making it much more secure and giving it a neat, tidy finish. 👌
