For all the people who feel like giving up, don’t. For all the parents juggling study, children, life and everything else in order to better themselves, keep going.

I was the first person both sides of my family to get a degree, let alone graduate with a 2:1 in LLB Law. It cost me £30,000 in debt to get there and I worked three jobs alongside, but I did it.

I entered post grad training with the law firm at the time wanting me to sign a 5 year pay freeze in return for their funding. I declined. I moved on.

I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive with a 20 month old at home and a 7 month pregnant belly.

It’s taken five law firms and a hell of a lot of knock backs to get me here. Thickened my skin along the way. Trusted my gut.

It’s very easy to see the ‘now’ version of me but I didn’t get here without hard work and sacrifice.

I see so many parents, particularly mums, with so much fire in their belly and drive in their mind. Keep going babes, the best is yet to come 💋
