Bài viết này sẽ chia sẻ về cách thức mà Bội Nội Vụ (BNV) sử dụng thông tin cá nhân của bạn trong quá trình quyết định cấp kết quả thành công cho bạn khi nộp chương trình định cư Châu Âu (EU Settlement Scheme).
Đầu tiên, BNV sẽ kiểm tra thông tin cá nhân của bạn bằng 03 cách:
- Kiểm tra các báo cáo tội phạm và an ninh
- Kiểm tra các báo cáo theo thời gian thực với DWP và HMRC để xem xét về bằng chứng về nơi cư trú của bạn ở Anh (ví dụ: hồ sơ thuế hoặc báo cáo phúc lợi)
- Chia sẻ thông tin của bạn với các tổ chức khác để xác minh bằng chứng bạn đã cung cấp trong đơn đăng ký để chống lại gian lận và sử dụng tài liệu giả (ví dụ: xác minh với một trường đại học về bằng cấp của bạn).
Sau đó, BNV cũng có thể tùy vào trường hợp mà sử dụng các thông tin của bạn đã cung cấp khi nộp hồ sơ EU Settlement Scheme để bổ sung thêm cho các vấn đề pháp lý khác, ví dụ:
- Nếu, trong tương lai, bạn Nhập tịch Anh quốc
- Nếu, BNV tìm được bằng chứng phạm pháp của bạn (kết hôn giả) đang được thực thi, để cho phép BNV thực hiện các nhiệm vụ bảo vệ của mình.

Be careful who you trust. Make sure they are qualified lawyers. Even people who work for a firm but offer to do the work outside of the office for cash are acting illegally.
Check to see the person you talk to has a certificate from their regulatory body.
Solicitors - it's the SRA
Barristers - it's the Bar Council
Immigration advisers - it's OISC & check their level covers the work that they are doing, level 2 at least.

Do not pay cash, out of the office or without an official receipt, as this means you are not covered by any regulation as they won't have put it into the office and have a file on the system.

There is a reason we are more expensive, we pay tax, we pay insurance - in case we make a mistake and then you are covered for that.

Bogus lawyers are not up to date on the law. Real lawyers are trained and keep up to date.

This applies in all areas not just immigration.

Vesey Solicitors have now fully merged with Warwick Solicitors and all matters will be dealt with from the Digbeth address as the Warwick office in Hall Green will be fully closed shortly.
You can still use the old 0121 327 6928 number for the moment, but it would be better to update your phone to our new office number of 0121 778 1188 which is the main number now. At some point in the next few months the 6928 number will cease to operate.
Hopefully, you won’t see any interruption in service.
Vesey’s welcome the new staff to our office.
Martin Keys – senior Partner of Warwick’s becomes a Partner in Warwick Vesey’s and Head of the Criminal Department.
Aisha Rafiq – joins as a senior Solicitor in the Family Department.
Mo Hussain – continues to deal with serious matters in the Crown Court Department
Shaid Aslam – will oversee police stations as well as continuing to deal with serious criminal matters in the Crown Court department.

And as an introduction to this service we will be offering a single simple will for £120 inc VAT and doubles or couple wills for £240 inc vat. This offer is only available till the 24th June and applies to wills booked in with us prior to then. If you can't make on the 24th then book it by then and you can fix the price, but the offer will finish in June.
So get a Will done by a legal professional, and receive a Will, a commentary on what it means in simple English (for you to take away, a wallet to store them in and a life book enabling you jot down useful things for your family and executors - i.e. what you would like played at your funeral, what bank accounts, pensions and life policies you have and any other thoughts that might help those left behind.
We also give you a signed copy of the will, properly witnessed and we will retain an electronic version too for your peace of mind.

A very interesting piece on Radio 5 Live today. The story of a man whose relative died without making a will. The man telling the story is not a lawyer, but, he dealt with his cousin's estate. They thought that he did have a will as he had money. However, having searched high & low no will was found. They then had to go through the intestacy route, this is where a Government Bill specifies where your money should go. A Solicitor was used for this and eventually 17 people split the estate. Of those 17 only about 4 were actually known to the deceased. The rest were cousins who were all entitled. The man had an estate of £700,000.00 From that the lawyer was paid £10,000 including VAT and Court fee's & it took 2 years to finalise. The Government was paid £245,000 in Inheritance Tax and the balance was paid to the 17 people.

The girlfriend (or Common Law Wife as he called her) got nothing.

For somewhere between £150-500.00 he could have given the money to his girlfriend and the relatives he knew and may be a charity or two he liked.

There was no provision for a funeral from the estate.

He could also in all likelihood saved a considerable amount on inheritance tax.

Death is the last taboo. Talking about it and planning for it doesn't make it happen any quicker.
