We are delighted to share Pam Sanghera of our international children’s team today returns from maternity leave.

Pam is a multi-award winning child abduction lawyer based in our Birmingham office who represents clients nationally and internationally in all children related cases involving an international element. A specialist in child abduction, wardship, habitual residence, relocation and jurisdiction matters, Pam is a panel member of the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit.

This year we made our Christmas donation somewhat differently.

Our office Christmas trees were filled with gold money envelopes for everyone to get involved and purchase gifts to be donated.

This year we donated to women’s domestic abuse refuge who support women facing challenging times in their lives with relationships, families and parenting, with many of the donations being toys for struggling children in their family dynamics.

Katie Knight of our Child Abduction and Children’s Department considers The Judiciary of England and Wales’ new guidance that explains what protective measures are available to keep parents and children safe in cases involving international child abduction.

This new Protective Measures Factsheet (issued October 2025), prepared by senior judges and the Ministry of Justice, sets out how the courts in England and Wales can protect children and parents when a return order is being considered under the 1980 Hague Convention.

We are delighted to share that our Criminal Litigation Department continues to expand. Having previously worked in the department providing administrative assistance to the Crown Court Team, Beth Mobley now assists the department as a paralegal specifically focussing on case progression.
