It has been a busy four month period since the last post.

We have recieved confirmation that we have been been given the ranked in the Chambers & partners ranking as well as by ThreeBestRated.co.uk.

None of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication from the team who have tirelessly devoted themselves to obtaining the best possible results.

1 Birmingham Crown Court -conspiracy to supply - suspended sentence. Only defendant in the conspiracy to receive a non-custodial sentence
2 Wolverhapton Crown Court - R**e - no evidence offered
3 Birmingham Crown Court - R**e - acquittal
4 Birmingham Crown Court - S18 wounding - No evidence offered
5 Birmingham Crown Court - Conspiracy to supply - suspended sentence. Only defendant in the conspiracy to recieve a non-custodial sentence.
6 Cardiff Crown Court - Conspiracy to import cannabis - acquittal
7 Cardiff Crown Court - Possession with intent to Supply class A drugs - no evidence offered
8 Oxford Crown Court - possession of firearm with intent - No evidence offered
9 Kingston Crown Court - R**e - acquittal
10 Wolverhampton Magistrates Court - bail granted for conspiracy to murder

The above is a sample of some of the cases that were dealt with.

It's been hard to post as work has been busy between March to April. Just a quick snapshot of the results and some of the cases we have dealt with :

1 Gloucester Crown Court - jury returned Not Guilty verdicts for a conspiracy to supply class A drugs
2 Birmingham Crown Court - a shoot out in Birmingham where our client was identified from CCTV firing a gun - 22 months custody
3 Warwick Crown Court - no evidence offered on the second day of the trial for a s18 wounding. Our client was identified by the victim and CCTV evidence
4 Wolverhampton Crown Court - suspended sentence imposed for drug dealing with the value of the drugs being place at around £4000-£5000
5 Birmingham Crown Court - suspended sentence for a defendant involved in a £700k drugs conspiracy

We have been instructed in the following new cases amongst others

conspiracy to murder at Crawley police station ( West Sussex) - bailed
conspiracy to murder at Heathrow Police Station - bailed
Attempted Murder x 2 at Perry Barr police station - charged. Appearing before Birmingham Crown Court
kidnapping at Perry Barr police station - no further action
Attempted Murder at Perry Barr police station - charged and appearing before Wolverhampton Crown Court
Conspiracy to supply drugs - Hull Magistrates Court
Attempted Murder - charged and bailed by Magistrates Court to appear at Birmingham Crown Court
Conspiracy to supply class A drugs - appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court
Conspiracy to import 300 kilos cannabis - bailed to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court
Conspiracy to import cannabis - bailed to appear at Cardiff Crown Court

That is just a very small sample of some of the cases that we dealt with and/are dealing with at the moment.

We have had so many requests for transfers to us from people charged with criminal offences. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET A TRANSFER OF LEGAL AID once it has been granted to another firm. GET IT RIGHT FIRST TIME AND CALL US AT THE POLICE STATION.

December and January were a busy couple of months for Hussain Solicitors.

Amongst the cases that were completed were

1 Stoke on Trent Crown Court - this case started off as an attempted murder, charged with s18 and eventually the client accepted a plea to a lesser offence which resulted in a suspended sentence. The client was facing a term of 12 to 16 years imprisonment for the s18 wounding however everything worked out in the end for him.
2 Birmingham Crown Court - following a 7 week trial, our client was acquitted of murder (see below)
3 Leicester Crown Cour - no evidence offered for smuggling drugs into a prison following a succesful NRM Referral
4 Carlisle Crown Court - client recieved a suspended sentence for supply co***ne
5 Birmingham Crown Court - client acquitted of robbery

Claire Davies KC leading Ioana Nedelcu secure murder acquittal in three-handed knife murder where the victim was robbed of their electric bike.
