Apparently, this is what happens when you leave family lawyers unsupervised…
We promise we’re normally very professional.
We talk about children.
We talk about finances.
We talk about separation, divorce and difficult decisions.
We listen. We advise. We mediate. We support.
And then, every now and again…
This happens. 🤦♀️😂
Because behind the serious conversations, the legal terminology and the “I’ll just send you a quick email” that somehow becomes a 14-paragraph masterpiece… we’re actually real people.
And we think that matters.
When families come to us, they’re often dealing with incredibly difficult circumstances. They don’t need someone sitting behind a desk being “very lawyerly” at them.
They need someone who will listen properly.
Someone who will explain things without the jargon.
Someone who understands that emotions are part of the process.
Someone approachable enough to pick up the phone and say, “Right… let’s work this out.”
We take what we do very seriously.
But ourselves?
Not always. 😉
Because sometimes the best way to get through difficult days is with good people, a little perspective… and a questionable amount of dancing. 💃😂
