Congratulations to our colleague Brendan McCartan who obtained his MA in History at The Open University graduation ceremony held in the Waterfront Hall on Tuesday 13th October.

Brendan undertook his two-year, part-time postgraduate studies whilst combining his own work commitments with Diamond Heron.

Watching Brendan graduate was his deeply proud mother Bernadette and friend Fiona Marshall.

We at Diamond Heron are extremely proud of Brendan's achievements in higher education.

Well done Brendan 👏

Diamond Heron staff Oonagh O'Hare, Aoife Catney and Brendan McCartan completed the 10km Breast Foot Forward Walk on Friday 5th June.

They were joined by Oonagh's husband Sean and Aoife's partner Chris.

The Walk is designed to raise funds and awareness for the Breast Screening services provided by Action Cancer.

Many uplifting stories by told by participants who are Breast Cancer survivors or families whose loved ones have passed away from this form of Cancer. That's what made for such a special and emotional evening.
