Blocked drains can often be prevented with a few simple habits. Please take care with what goes down your sinks, showers and baths.

❌ Avoid grease, food waste, wipes, coffee grounds and unsuitable items.
🧼 Use a hair catcher where possible and clear away hair and debris regularly.

If you notice slow drainage, unusual smells or water backing up, please report it to us promptly so we can address the issue before it becomes a bigger problem.

If you smell gas in your property, do not ignore it.

❌ Do not smoke or use naked flames
❌ Do not switch electrical appliances on or off
❌ Do not use your phone inside the property

✅ If safe, turn off gas appliances
✅ Open doors and windows
✅ Leave the property immediately
✅ Once outside, call the Northern Ireland Gas Emergency Service
