Work Experience with Queen Mary's College, North Hampshire πŸ‘

Last week, Jill, Francesca and Jasmine spent three days at QMC supporting a work experience programme for 12 law students.

The week was designed to help students develop key soft skills, including communication, problem-solving, teamwork and leadership, while giving them an insight into real-world legal topics πŸ“œ

Jill and Fran set the students a research task focused on Artificial Intelligence and the Renters’ Rights Act. The groups were split evenly, with half arguing for the statement and the others against. After presenting their findings, the students took part in a lively debate, showcasing some excellent arguments and thoughtful questions.

Choosing a winning team proved to be no easy task!

Although a winning group was selected, all of the students performed incredibly well, demonstrating strong research skills, confident presentation, and impressive debate techniques.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to welcoming another group of students for work experience next year πŸ’š
