Saving a Damaged Old Door Instead of Replacing It

Customer’s older scratch-built door had been ripped from the frame, tearing timber out in the process. Instead of pushing for a full replacement, I repaired and reinforced the damaged section using grab adhesive, screws, and wood filler before rehanging the door on its existing surface-mounted hinges.
