Fixing a Sagging Wooden Gate + Adding a Hedgehog Access Hole 🦔
A customer asked me to repair a wooden side gate that had started sagging and wouldn't latch properly. After removing the gate, I found the original bracing was inadequate, so I added diagonal bracing, fitted larger heavy-duty hinges, adjusted the gate alignment, and created a hedgehog access hole at the bottom. Fixing a Sagging Wooden Gate + Adding a Hedgehog Access Hole 🦔
A customer asked me to repair a wooden side gate that had started sagging and wouldn't latch properly. After removing the gate, I found the original bracing was inadequate, so I added diagonal bracing, fitted larger heavy-duty hinges, adjusted the gate alignment, and created a hedgehog access hole at the bottom. Blocked Sink Finally Fixed

Called to a property with foul smells, blocked sinks, and multiple leaks. What looked like a simple blockage turned into a plumbing puzzle involving interconnected waste pipes, leaking traps, and a system that had already defeated a specialist drain company five times. After dismantling, rebuilding, snaking, plunging, and cleaning, all three fixtures were draining and leak-free again.

Installing a Bat Box at Roof Height 🦇🔨
A customer asked for a bat box to be installed to encourage local bats to nest safely. Using a long ladder and hammer drill, I mounted the box just below the guttering at roof height, making sure it was both functional for wildlife and neatly positioned to suit the property.
