An evening for an incredible cause 💙

Last weekend, we had the privilege of attending a charity dinner in aid of PC David Rathband’s Blue Lamp Foundation — a charity supporting serving police, fire and ambulance personnel who have suffered physical or mental injury in the line of duty.

It was a fantastic evening filled with inspiring stories, great company and a shared commitment to supporting those who dedicate their lives to protecting and helping others.

Over £16,000 was raised for the charity on the evening — an incredible achievement and a wonderful testament to everyone who contributed.

Thank you to the organisers, everyone who donated, and all those who made the evening so memorable. It was a pleasure for the Lund Bennett Law team to be there and support such a worthwhile cause. 💙

On Thursday evening we stepped away from the day-to-day of being family lawyers and headed into Manchester for , a room full of professionals building, leading and growing businesses.

There was something refreshing about an evening that wasn’t just about exchanging business cards or making small talk, but about real conversations, honest stories and genuine connection.

The panel was a particular highlight, hearing from four brilliant women about their experiences, challenges, lessons and what it really takes to build something of your own:

Different businesses, different journeys, but so many common themes — ambition, resilience, taking risks, backing yourself and, perhaps most importantly, the value of having the right people around you.

As family lawyers, we spend our working lives hearing people’s stories and helping them through some of the most significant moments in their lives. So evenings like this are a great reminder that who we surround ourselves with, the conversations we have and the communities we build really do matter.

Thank you to the women behind PERMISSION for creating a space that felt less like a networking event and more like a room where people could actually connect.

We left feeling inspired, energised and very glad we went.
