Conveyancing Solicitor at Walkerwise Solicitors, Accrington, BB5 1EB.

About Walker Wise Solicitors:
We are a well established legal firm based in the North West. We offer expert guidance and support for a range of legal matters from Family Law and Employment Law to Immigration, Housing Disrepair, Personal Injury, Medical Negligence, Industrial Disease and Conveyancing.

What you will do:
- Have in depth technical knowledge relating to all types of Residential and Commercial Conveyancing transactions.
- Be required to manage a caseload.
- Attend meetings with clients initially to obtain instructions and further during the course of the matter.
- Prepare and draft necessary correspondence and documents for each transaction utilising existing computer resources.
- Liaise with clients, lenders third party solicitors, estate agents etc in connection with each matter.
- Take overall responsibility for the organisation of correspondence and documentation ensuring proper file and case management.
- Organise necessary payments and receipts on each matter in conjunction with accounts.
- Take responsibility for the organisation of correspondence and documentation ensuring proper file and case management.
- Carry out any necessary research to supplement case details.
- Review files, ensuring compliance with practices and procedures as defined on the office manual and as required under The Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme membership.

What we’re looking for:
- 2 years' post qualified experience as a practising conveyancing solicitor.
- Experience handling a large conveyancing caseload.
- Significant level of knowledge and experience within the field of Conveyancing.
- A good track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Strong IT & systems knowledge, experience with Proclaim would be an advantage.
- A good team player, understanding and embracing the concept of "excellent customer service" coupled with "urgency to get things done".
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.

- 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)

- Target based bonus

Location: Accrington

Working hours: Full-time 8:45am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday (occasional out of hours work as required to meet project demands).

🚨Litigation Executive Vacancy 🚨

We are looking for an Litigation Executive to join our Law Practice based in Accrington.

The role includes:

• A flexible and adaptable approach to your work
• The desire to develop your understanding of law
• Commercial awareness, business acumen and an understanding of a clients’ needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail is needed to carefully analyse files and data
• The ability to multitask and manage tasks and caseloads
• Legal research skills
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organisational skills
• Team working and interpersonal skills when working with different departments to ensure tasks are completed
• An understanding of legal database certifications may be useful.

The ideal candidate must have a Law Degree or other relevant qualification such as ILEX.

Experience is essential with 2-5 years’ experience in the Legal field. The Firm does offer training contracts and assists with qualifying via the SQE route.
