YOUR ALPINE DREAMS, ANSWERED....

A beautiful old Savoyard farmhouse. A spectacular vision for its next chapter. And a mountain setting just minutes from Megève.

Meet Ferme 1907, an extraordinary renovation opportunity on the slopes of Praz-sur-Arly, offered with planning permission granted.

The proposed transformation is something special: a 640m² main farmhouse, a separate 90m² chalet and an original bread oven, bringing Alpine character together with some seriously impressive contemporary comforts.

Think seven bedrooms, almost 200m² of living and entertaining space with a fireplace and bar, plus a wellness area with swimming pool, gym and home cinema.

What does a little corner of Provence know about the good life that Hollywood keeps coming back to discover?

Brad Pitt has Miraval. George Lucas has Château Margüi. Eric Idle has spent more than fifty years making himself at home in Cotignac and has just released a book all about it. Now George Clooney, who lives in a nearby estate is planning an Italian restaurant in the village.

Quite a gathering in this beautiful pocket of the Var... Spend an afternoon here and you begin to understand why.

Coffee beneath the plane trees. A wander through the market. Vineyards, olive groves and incredible lunches that somehow last until late afternoon. Beautiful villages where there is plenty going on, but very little reason to rush.

That’s the Cotignac effect. And it reaches well beyond the village itself, into places such as Lorgues, Flayosc and further, where a stone bastide or a house with a pool could become your own reason to stay.

Our latest mailer explores the famous faces, the local way of life and six homes that could bring the dream a little closer - https://mailchi.mp/home-hunts/the-cotignac-effect

Set in 5,082 m² of landscaped grounds in Cap d’Ail, this exceptional villa makes the most of that remarkable setting, with generous terraces, a private pool and five en suite bedrooms. Yes, you may wish to make a few updates, there is also significant potential to extend.

It’s the location that makes this one so special, just above Monaco. Take a look through the photographs. You’ll see exactly what we mean.

Buy the chalet, then try to remember to go skiing...

With a heated indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and private cinema, getting everyone out of the house could take some persuasion 😀

Then again, with Mont Blanc filling the view, even your morning coffee feels like an event.

Set in Les Tines, Chamonix, this spectacular log chalet offers five bedrooms and approximately 467 m² of living space in total . There’s even a separate mazot with its own terrace and garden for guests who appreciate a little independence.

Some addresses deserve a little name-dropping. Place des Vosges in Paris is one of them....

Set within a remarkable 17th-century building, this 237 m² duplex brings serious Parisian glamour: cathedral ceilings, roof terrace, stone fireplace, elegant entertaining spaces and views across the gardens of one of the capital’s most beautiful and historic squares.

Three bedrooms, an office that could become a fourth, and that private rooftop terrace for a glass of something rather good above the city. We could get very used to this!
