This beautiful sunset is the reward we have after a doozy of a storm this afternoon..
Thank goodness for the weather warnings yesterday, that gave me time to check that all my properties were prepared for the tempest (shutters shut etc..) and that anything remotely electrical was unplugged...storms are always tricky here, because we have micro climates, which means mad flooding, high winds or hail in one area, and nothing to write home about in another..

Good Sunday morning!
I do love me a garden clearance! This one was fantastic, and I was again invited to work in collaboration with Joli Jardin, Maison Contente , which in itself is always a great treat.

It is just a joy to rediscover established plants and shrubs sometimes even a summerhouse, ponds and an oil tank!
This was an amazing property, in a tiny hamlet, which had been in need of rescue for quite a few years, and I nicknamed it 'The Secret Garden', because it was surrounded by a wall, inset with traditional french railings.
As we were working there, the old french inhabitants of the village came to see our progress, and told us stories of previous owners from many decades ago. Just brilliant❤❤❤

Hello and welcome to my page! – Although this is the FIRST POST for 'Feels Like Home – Cleaning and Gardening Services', the enterprise itself is slightly longer in the tooth – as I have been providing these services for quite some time now!

In this age of connectivity, and with all of the various ways that we can both keep in touch, and share experiences, I decided to have a ‘go to’ place for all of that, as opposed to trying to remember email addresses, mobile numbers , WhatApp messages etc.. And so here we are!

I also get to share,(with permission, of course), some photos of the beautiful places where I am lucky enough to work – and the transformations that I undertake!

So, if I can help you by providing any of my services, no matter how small or large your project, from within France or from abroad, please do get in touch! I look forward to hearing from you!
