Attention: Earthquake and Tsunami Drill 🚨

Next Wednesday, 4 March 2026, from 09:00 onwards, the “Torrevieja 2026” earthquake drill will take place in Torrevieja. This is an official exercise coordinated by the Generalitat Valenciana.

📱 You will receive an ES-ALERT message on your mobile phone clearly stating that it is a DRILL.

➡️ During the morning, operational activities and preventive evacuations will be carried out in different areas of the city, including some schools and public spaces.

⚠️ Please remember that this is not a real emergency; there is no need to be alarmed.

The aim of this exercise is to improve coordination between emergency services and strengthen response capacity in the event of potential earthquake and tsunami risks.

🚨 Atención: Simulacro de Terremoto y Tsunami 🚨

El próximo miércoles 4 de marzo de 2026, a partir de las 09:00 h, se llevará a cabo en Torrevieja el simulacro sísmico “Torrevieja 2026”, un ejercicio oficial coordinado por la Generalitat Valenciana.

📱 Recibirás un mensaje ES-ALERT en tu teléfono móvil que indicará claramente que se trata de un SIMULACRO.

➡️ Durante la mañana se realizarán actuaciones operativas y evacuaciones preventivas en distintas zonas de la ciudad, incluidos algunos centros educativos y espacios públicos.

⚠️ Recuerda que no es una emergencia real; no hay que alarmarse.

Este ejercicio tiene como objetivo mejorar la coordinación de los servicios de emergencia y la capacidad de respuesta ante posibles riesgos sísmicos y de tsunami.
