Agamed, the water company providing residential water services in the city 🛀 require the Declaration of Habitability "Declaración Responsable de Segunda Ocupación" certificate to be issued in the name of the new owner 🔑 when changing the name on the utility supply contract.

The certificate expires every 10 years, and in many other municipalities, the only requirement is that the document is valid ✅ regardless of whose name appears on it.
