th interests in Spain. About Gabriella Mary Trussler Rowland

Founder of Trussler Law, Spanish qualified lawyer and British national. She trained and qualified at the University of Granada, where she also acquired her Master in Legal Practice. She is member number 4408 of the Law Society of Almeria and specialises in property law services. She has experience working in both traditional law firms and international consultancy firms, providing legal and tax services to natural persons, as well as businesses and organisations. VALIDITY OF UK DRIVING LICENCES

As of the 1st May 2022, if you have been legally resident in Spain for more than 6 months, your UK licence will no longer be valid for driving in Spain.

The British and Spanish governments continue to negotiate on long-term arrangements for exchanging driving licences without needing to take a practical test, but if it is imperative that you drive, the government does not recommend that you wait for the outcome of the negotiations to take action to exchange your licence.

Be advised that Trussler Law does not deal with licence exchanges, this is for information purposes only.
