We were delighted to be the Main Sponsor of the Jávea Feral Cat Association’s Padel Tournament and Family Festival on Sunday at Club de Padel Paris 24! 🎾🐱

It was fantastic to see so many people coming together for such a great cause, and we’re thrilled to hear that over €3,000 was raised to support the amazing work the association does for our local community’s feral cats. 🐾💙

We had a brilliant day watching the padel players in action, enjoying the fantastic atmosphere and seeing the community come together to support such a worthwhile charity.

Owning a property in Spain comes with tax obligations, even if you don’t rent it out.

Many non-resident property owners are surprised to discover that a second home or holiday property in Spain can still generate an annual tax liability, even when no actual rental income is received.

Under Spanish tax rules, non-residents may need to declare imputed rental income through Form 210, calculated on the cadastral value of the property and subject to the applicable tax rate. It is a relatively simple concept, but one that is often overlooked — especially by international owners who only use their property for a few weeks or months each year.

⛳💙 A Great Day Out at Jávea Golf Club! 💙⛳

We were delighted to sponsor the recent golf tournament at Jávea Golf Club, supporting one of our fantastic local clubs while enjoying a day of networking, friendly competition and catching up with familiar faces.

Francisco, one of the driving forces behind Vives Pons, was out on the course playing as part of a team. Now based in our new Jávea office, Francisco is focused on growing our property services in the area and helping more people find their dream home on the Costa Blanca. It’s great to see him getting involved in the local community, both on and off the golf course!

Meanwhile, Gemma was at our stand, chatting with players and visitors, introducing them to our new Jávea office and handing out our brand-new Vives Pons pens! 🖊️

Trends change. Good design lasts.

Interior design is moving towards a calmer, more thoughtful approach: fewer repeated formulas, fewer spaces designed purely for the photograph, and more attention to materials, light, functionality and the way we actually live in a home.
Wood is taking centre stage again. Stone is being allowed to feel like stone. Lighting is no longer purely functional, but an integral part of the architecture. And minimalism is becoming warmer, more tactile and, above all, more personal.

At the same time, some ideas we have seen repeated for years are beginning to fade: all-white kitchens, cold greys, excessive faux marble, decorative timber slats without a real purpose, too many recessed spotlights, and interiors that look perfect but somehow fail to feel inviting.
It is not about chasing the next trend.
It is about creating spaces that will still make sense ten years from now.
