Do you know chiringuitos and espetos de sardinas? 🇪🇸
Here on the eastern side of Málaga, they’re an absolute classic. From Rincón de la Victoria through Torre del Mar and all the way towards Torrox, you’ll find beach restaurants with a typical little wooden hut and an old boat filled with sand, where fish, sardines, octopus and meat are grilled right in front of you.
And espetos de sardinas – sardines skewered on a stick and grilled over an open fire – are simply part of summer and life on the Costa del Sol.
Nothing fancy. Just the sea, fire, fresh fish and a cold drink.
