🌍🎮 Reworlding Poblenou: Imagining Urban Futures Through Play
What could Poblenou look like in 2050? This was the question at the heart of this immersive experience organized by 22@Network Barcelona through the 22@Creative Lab programme, together with the RMIT Future Play Lab.
🚶♀️✨ Walking through the streets of the district, from the UPF Poblenou Campus and around iconic spaces such as Museu Can Framis, participants explored possible urban futures through play, storytelling, sound and collective imagination.
💡 More than a walking tour, the experience transformed Poblenou into a living laboratory for ideas, encouraging participants to reflect on how cities can respond to climate, social and technological challenges while fostering more inclusive, resilient and sustainable futures.
🤝 A unique opportunity to collectively imagine the future of our urban environments and the role creativity can play in shaping the cities of tomorrow.
🙏 Special thanks to Troy Innocent, Associate Professor at RMIT University, and to everyone who joined us on this inspiring journey.
🏛️ This activity forms part of the Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026 programme, an initiative that positions the city as a global hub for reflection, innovation and experimentation around architecture, urbanism and the future of cities.
