🌟 The Prophet’s Birthday 2025 🌟 ❤️
In this blessed month, the best of mankind was born — our Master Muhammad, son of Abdullah, son of Abdul-Muttalib, son of Hashim, son of Abd Manaf, son of Qusayy, son of Kilab, son of Murrah, son of Ka‘b, son of Lu’ayy, son of Ghalib, son of Fihr, son of Malik, son of Al-Nadr, son of Kinana, son of Khuzaymah, son of Mudrikah, son of Ilyas, son of Mudar, son of Nizar, son of Ma‘add, son of Adnan — descending from the noblest of Arab lineages, and the purest of families.
He ﷺ was born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, in the Year of the Elephant, on a Monday in Rabi‘ Al-Awwal, corresponding to April 571 CE. His birth marked the dawn of a new era that illuminated humanity with the path of guidance and established the foundations of mercy, justice, and equality.
In 2025, we commemorate 1,500 years since his blessed birth — a rare occasion that occurs only once every century. This year carries with it a profound message from His Eminence, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, who addressed the meanings of mercy, the universality of the prophetic message, the ethics of war in Islam, and Al-Azhar’s stance on contemporary issues — foremost among them, the Palestinian cause.
