Surrounded by centuries of history, beautiful architecture, and the unmistakable spirit of Ramadan in Old Cairo, it was the perfect setting to pause, connect, and simply enjoy each other’s company outside the office.

We were pleased to attend the Innovation for Resilience: Financing for a Sustainable Future event and to act as legal advisors to GlobalCorp- in connection with its USD 40 million financing package involving IFC - International Finance Corporation, which was formally signed during the event.

The transaction represents the first securitization and local-currency investment in a non-banking financial institution, supporting green financing and sustainable lending in Egypt.

Congratulations to Hatem Samir, CEO of GlobalCorp, and the wider GlobalCorp team on this milestone transaction.

We are delighted to announce the successful closure of Jameel Finance second securitization transaction amounting to EGP 470 million, which comes as part of a 3-year multi-issuances program amounting to EGP 4 billion.

It is worth mentioning that Beltone Investment Banking acted as the financial advisor and lead arranger of the transaction. Suez Canal Bank acted as custodian, underwriter and Bookrunner, while Baker Tilly Hilal& Abdel Ghaffar as the official auditor for the transaction.
