المؤهلات المطلوبة:
• خبرة عملية في التراخيص الصناعية وموافقات المناطق الحرة لا تقل عن [5] سنوات.
• معرفة عميقة بالقوانين واللوائح المنظمة للمناطق الحرة والمناطق الصناعية والمجتمعات العمرانية.
• مهارات تواصل قوية وقدرة على التعامل مع الجهات الحكومية.

Attorney or Government Relations Officer

Saadany & Partners Law Firm announces its need to hire a Lawyer with strong experience in government relations, specifically in obtaining operating licenses for factories and commercial establishments within industrial zones and free zones, and in dealing with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).

Duties and Responsibilities:
1 – Issuing operating licenses and industrial registry certificates for industrial establishments.
2 – Securing required approvals for free zone entities.
3 – Preparing, submitting, and approving technical files in accordance with applicable regulations.
4 – Handling all types of procedures with Urban Development Authorities, the Industrial Development Authority, the New Urban Communities Authority, Free Zones, and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
5 – Legal follow-up of licensing applications and ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations.
6 – Communicating with relevant government authorities to resolve legal and regulatory issues.

Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of [5] years of hands-on experience in industrial licensing and free zone approvals.
* In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing free zones, industrial areas, and urban communities.

🔴 What's New in Egypt-DRC Relations?

On October 16, we had a productive meeting at the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mr. Mohab Moataz, Dr. Olga Andreeva, and the Commercial Counsel discussed ways to further strengthen trade and investment between Egypt and the DRC.

Two-way trade between Egypt and the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been growing in recent years and the two countries have recently reached a partnership agreement in the field of electricity which is an important step in strengthening the effective Egyptian presence in Africa, especially in the Nile Basin countries.

Looking ahead, we're working together to facilitate market entry for DRC companies in Egypt as the upcoming Round Table on Egyptian investment law in November 2024 presents a great opportunity to explore more collaboration. Don't miss it out! 📆

In addition, Mr. Mohab delivered an updated Investment Guide to the Commercial Counsel as new mechanisms have been updated in Egyptian law to facilitate the registration of the importation companies in Egypt and not to impose any restrictions on foreigners and their ownership over the company. This is per Law No. 173 of 2023, which entitles foreigners to own importation companies in Egypt without any restrictions fully.

Sadany & Khalifa Law Firm was honored to have a meeting at the Embassy of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh with the Trade Representative of the country and Mr. Muhammad Rabie, Managing partner of Sadany&Khalifa law firm. The relations between Bangladesh and Egypt has been growing in recent years. In 2021, Bangladesh exported $46.2M to Egypt, and the main products are jute yarn, non-knit women's suits, and knit T-shirts. Undoubtedly, there are still plenty of opportunities to stimulate investment and economic cooperation between the two countries and to further strengthen trade relations between the two countries. Dr. Muhammad delivered the Investment Guide to the Embassy and the parties discussed various initiatives to cooperate together.
