Competitors Conditions:

The participant must be:

- Student of Law College at Universities and higher institutes within the Middle Eastern or Northern African countries.
- Age, less than 25 years old.
- Familiar with the well-known conditions of writing scientific researches.

Competition Conditions:

- examples of recent jurisprudence and judicial precedents should be included within the research.
- Research must be sent to the competition’s official email: [email protected] on or before February 18, 2024.
- The research is accepted in both Arabic and English languages.


Awards:

The research supposed to win the First Prize shall be awarded an amount of AED 7,000 and an opportunity of a 1 Month Internship at a reputable IP Law Firm.

The research supposed to win the Second Prize shall be awarded an amount of AED 3,000 and an opportunity of a 1 Month Internship at a reputable IP Law Firm.

• He joined the doctoral program directly – as an exception by a decision of the College Council – after the first semester of the master’s stage, following his scientific excellence, and then receiving a (free) scholarship from the same university.

Experience:
He worked as a legal advisor (trainee) in the office of lawyer Hassan Al-Mahasni, 1977. And as a legal investigator in the Control and Investigation Authority, and represented it in a number of specialized investigation committees from 1978 to 1980. He worked also as a legal advisor (part-time) at the United Nations – New York (Committee on the Law of the Sea) 1985.He also worked as a professor in several universities and established the Saudi Center for Advocacy and Legal Consultations and devoted himself to practicing the profession of law and legal advice. He also established the Saudi Center for Legal Studies and Research. And he also conducted scientific arbitration for many scientific research commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, King Saud University, Taif University, the Research and Development Center, the Center for Islamic Economics, and King Abdulaziz University, and supervised a number of research and master’s and doctoral theses in local and international universities.
