H.E. JUSTICE RIEK BIM TOP, GOVERNOR OF UNITY STATE, PROMISES SECURITY AND STABILITY DURING HIS VISIT TO THE IDP CAMP.
Bentiu, On Friday, July 19, 2024, H.E. Justice Riek Bim Top, Governor of Unity State, visits the Internally Displaced People camp.Thousands of the locals took to the roads to receive the Governor with ululation while hymning songs of joy. The courtesy visit is a heartwarming moment for the residents, who have been facing immense challenges due to displacement.
During his visit, H.E. the Governor listened attentively to the concerns and stories said by the representatives. He empathised with their struggles and promised to work tirelessly to provide them with a secure environment where they could rebuild their lives without fear of violence or harm. In addition, Bim promises essential services such as improved education and health care in the state.
In his statement,
"People of Unity State, I am asking you to return to your homes. I promise you security and stability. come out."
