ICC Moot Court: Team of the University of Tartu

ICC Moot Court: Team of the University of Tartu Representatives of School of Law of University of Tartu in International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition.

The ICC Moot Court simulates the proceedings of the ICC. ICC deals with crimes that concern the international community as a whole: genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Founded in 2002 with the Rome Statute, the ICC is the first permanent international criminal court. ICC Moot Court is hosted by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies and Leiden University. This year, the c

ompetition will take place from 27th of May to 1st of June in The Hague. In 2018, 70 teams from 42 countries will be processing a case addressing fundamental issues in the field of international criminal law. University of Tartu School of Law has participated in the competition from 2017. Each year, the School of Law composes a team of students from 3rd course and Masters students that will represent the University of Tartu in the competition.

Selle fookuses on kรตige raskemad kuriteod: genotsiid, agressioon, sรตjakuriteod ja inimsusevastased kuriteod.

Vรตistlusel lahendatakse rahvusvahelise kriminaalรตiguse fundamentaalsete probleemidega tegelevat kaasust.
Iga vรตistkond esineb kolmes rollis: sรผรผdistaja, kaitsja ja riigi esindaja. Suuline lรตppvรตistlus toimub Haagis.

Vรตistkond koosneb 3-5 liikmest ning edukal osalemisel on vรตimalik teenida ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ ๐—˜๐—”๐—ฃ-๐—ฑ. Vรตistkonda juhendavad Kaur Kanarbik ja Andres Parmas.

Ootame kandideerima ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ธ๐—ผฬƒ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ผฬƒ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ ๐˜‚ฬˆ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ผฬƒ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ, kuid vรคga motiveeritud bakalaureuse kolmanda aasta tudengid on samuti teretulnud. Kandideerimiseks palume esitada:
