With a score of 96%, the European Intellectual Property Institutes Network (EIPIN) has obtained a grant of € 3.865.882,- for a Innovative Training Network (ITN) in the form of a European Joint Doctorate programme on the role of intellectual property for an innovative society.
The EIPIN partners as well as several institutional partners, branch organisations and industry partners have committed themselves to this programme. This means that researchers will have access to numerous facilities and large networks.
The partners are: The Association of European Science and Technology Transfer Professionals (ASTP Proton), Chemelot InSciTe, the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO), Ericsson, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), the European Patent Institute (EPI), the European Seed Association (ESA), the European Telecommunication and Standards Institute (ETSI), the Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte (GEMA), Hovione, the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), Kennisland, the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the Organisation for an International Geographical Indications Network (ORIGIN).
In the context of this project the EIPIN partners will be able to recruit fifteen PhD researchers. Recruitment for these positions will commence after summer.
