Transformational Justice is a framework created by marginalized communities of survivors of violence who did not and could not rely on institutional forms of “Justice” (courts, police...).

This framework, unlike the systems of “Justice” we know, calls for radical healing as it cares to address the roots of violence to break generational cycles of harm, using accountability as a tool of agency and repair, as well as centering the voices & healing of survivors instead of the punishment of harm-doers.

In this 3-hour workshop, we will introduce TJ and its concepts and lineages, as well as practice centred accountability in the face of conflict.
This workshop will include somatic practices as well as a hypnotic/somatic trance to connect safely to centered accountability.

Learn more about Care :

Care (they/them) is a light-skinned Black trans non binary abolitionist somatic practitioner, artist & doula who works on re-membering embodied experiences of awe, connection, miracles & care.

Their work blooms at the intersection of Black interiority, somatic memory and q***r intimacies.

They study and professionally practice astrology, tarot, Reiki, hypnosis, somatics, Transformative Justice and doula work in Berlin, Germany.

The exhibition examines intimate intersectional perspectives of mental health and mobility in Germany’s migration histories focusing on BiPOC and LGBTQ* testimonies.
The contributions of visual works, workshops and multi-disciplinary archives share protection resources as tools for empowerment, gathering, and prevention-planning.
The approach of mobile transmissions and community-led interactions encourages the development of safer spaces and collaborations that allow us to focus on a research project at the intersection of law, education, healthcare, art and activism that cannot be separated from the discourse of migrant experiences and histories that Semra Ertan, Fasia Jansen, May-Ayim and Sista Mimi so profoundly shared in their lives.
The artists and activists respond to their experiences of migrant struggle and structural discrimination when looking at the German system and its connection to its neo-colonial histories.

Muslim Futures
💙DO 18.1 - SO 21.1 - +
💚Opening: DO 18.1, 19H

From a theoretical perspective, Muslim Futures builds on the cultural-ideological-cosmological framework of Critical Futures Thinking and imagines Muslim-intersectional futures through a collective and participatory process.
With Muslim Futures, an empowering and disruptive space is created, (from art and culture to political education), which translates, exhibits and discusses muslim imaginations in various installations, interventions and forms of expression.

The futurists make use of literary, artistic, documentary, musical and many other perspectives and focus in part on different sensual experiences in imaginative processes.

Come, and enter the world of Muslim Futures and radically imagine more inclusive futures with us.
From the 18th until the 21st of January, you’ll find Muslim Futures in the ACUD Gallery and Club, please visit the website (www.muslimfutures.de) and their social media for more details on the programm!

We are thrilled to introduce to you We Who Move The World Forward - a project in 6 chapters with conversations, live performances, workshops and an exhibition at Kunsthaus ACUD between February and July 2024. The project amplifies the voices of migrant workers, feminist activists, trauma survivors and displaced people to activate resources for protection, solidarity and support in dealing with integration, displacement and mental health. These will be strengthened through networks, alternative support structures and community solidarity at a time when migrant communities are at their most vulnerable. The program explores historical colonial practices related to integration processes of foreigners and examines community resources, gendered experiences and forms of reparation in the lives of refugees and cultural spaces.

The lives of the four protagonists Fasia Jansen, Semra Ertan, May-Ayim and Sista Mimi with their struggles within German integration and migration law and the political landscapes of West and East Germany from the post-war period to the present, are traced together with lesser-known perspectives from three waves of German migration history. We contextualize them with movements that shaped the experiences of migration and discrimination of the four protagonists: Gastarbeiter, Vertragsarbeiter and the Berlin refugee movement. These are presented in the project chapters by actors who were involved in the development and strengthening of these movements. The project is partnered with , Press and .fm.
