Per AR 27-3, 100% disabled veterans who are not military
retirees are explicitly ineligible for legal assistance services from Army Legal Assistance offices worldwide, including those in the 21st TSC AOR. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Preparation or ex*****on of wills, living wills, or advance directives
• Powers of attorney (general, special, or healthcare)
• Family law matters (divorce, child support, custody under SOFA or state law)
• Immigration, visa, or SOFA-related advice
• Consumer, debt, landlord-tenant, or other civil legal advice
• Notary services in connection with legal assistance matters
Such individuals should be politely informed of their ineligibility and referred to appropriate alternative resources, such as VA-accredited Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), state veterans affairs offices, VA legal clinics, or private attorneys.
