(Establishment of GELAW in Cyprus for Europe) Our company origins from one of the most reputable Law Firms in Cyprus. The “LAW OFFICE OF DEMOS AND LIA GEORGIADES & CO” was established in 1968 in Nicosia, Cyprus and since then it has grown to one of the biggest and most reputable Law Firms. Both the founders, Demos Georgiades and Lia Georgiades, have served as members of the Parliament and also from other Governmental key positions.
In 1995 the Law firm established a Corporate Services Department under the name of GE.LAW SERVICES that very soon became one of Cyprus’ pioneers in the field. The Department then evolved into an independent legal entity under the name of GE.LAW SERVICES LTD that acquired all the relevant accreditations from the Cyprus Authorities, the Cyprus Central Bank and major local and international Banking Institutions.
In 2008, the GE.Law Services Ltd formed a joint venture with Gilham International Ltd and EUROLINK Consultants Ltd under the corporate name of Gilham Trust (Cyprus) Ltd, aiming to exploit the international market and to offer directly, international top quality services to companies in various jurisdictions, corporate structuring, international tax planning, financial, legal and corporate consulting, investment schemes, asset management and trading securities.
