The STEP Cyprus Chair and STEP Europe Deputy Chair discusses the recently proposed Cyprus International Trusts reform

We are proud to be associated with the first STEP Europe Introductory Conference in Poland, a significant milestone that reflects the continued growth and strength of the STEP community across Europe.

Our Managing Partner, nickyxenofontos, has been invited to participate as a panellist in the discussion on “Asset Protection or Abuse? Challenging Fiduciary Structures in Litigation”, bringing together leading practitioners and academics from multiple jurisdictions.

Whilst personal circumstances will prevent travel to Warsaw, Nicky will be joining the conference remotely and looks forward to contributing to this important discussion on trusts, fiduciary structures and cross-border asset protection.

Discussing Cyprus as a preferable jurisdiction for relocation, succession planning, and creation of family offices, a clear and accelerating shift towards Cyprus is evident.

💡 This insightful article captures what many of us in the private client space are experiencing daily; Cyprus is no longer a peripheral option, but an increasingly strategic jurisdiction for international wealth structuring.

From practice on the ground, the demand has evolved. Clients are no longer seeking fragmented solutions, but fully integrated approaches combining:

• cross-border asset protection
