⏰The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property issued a circular calling for all Cypriot companies, partnerships and European Public Limited Companies, to access the Beneficial Ownership Register (BOR), to verify or update their beneficial owners' information. The Register will be accessible from the 1st of October 2026, up to and including the 31st of December 2026.

⚠️Any entity which fails to submit the required information within the specified timeframe, will be subject to a fine of €100 for the first day of non-compliance, and an additional fine of €50 for each subsequent day of continued violation, up to a maximum total fine of €5,000.

Last week marked the end of the 2025/26 Court season and our team assembled for a two-day, in-house training, delivered by Philippos Aristotelous.

Titled “Marvellous Client Care & Professional Excellence in the Age of Legal Disruption”, the program explored a wide range of topics, highlighting concepts and techniques which are important to all members of our team, irrespective of their role, duties and position within the firm:

- Client relationships and professional decision-making
- Scoping, pricing, billing, collecting fees
- Defending the value of legal services in the era of AI and LegalTech
- Recognising and generating opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
- The effect of LegalTech and AI on the economics of legal work
- Business and client development

Ο Διευθυντής του δικηγορικού μας γραφείου κ. Αυγερινός Χαρτσιώτης παρουσίασε τις εξελίξεις στο εποπτικό πλαίσιο και το επενδυτικό περιβάλλον που διαμορφώνεται στην Κύπρο, ενώ η Επικεφαλής του Τμήματος Εταιρικού και Εμπορικού Δικαίου κα.
