We here at the want to take a step away from being the amazing "plastic space men" that you know and love to show our support for one of our honorary members.
Kelly Marie Tran has come under some extreme cyber-bullying and trolling over the past little while and as a result has decided to shut down her Instagram account. She has been an absolute bright light in the universe and is herself a huge fan of the franchise.
Regardless of the anger or displeasure some fans have been expressing about the recent films, the actors, directors, producers and crews have poured their hearts and souls into telling us these new stories and DO NOT deserve this kind of treatment from ANYONE in ANY FORM. If you don't like the new stories, you are free to make that choice, but that is where it ends. It does not continue on with making a public spectacle or by attacking the actors (celebrities), directors, producers or crew. This is NOT anyone's "right". The universe and community DO NOT owe anyone, anything.
We in the do not tolerate ANY kind of bullying or trolling, regardless of the form it may take and do not condone anyone who would stoop to this level.
Our hearts collectively go out to Kelly Marie. The Legion stands with you against bullying!
