In Serbia the LLCs have the option to set up an Employee Stock Ownership Plan allowing employees to share company's profit and to have a voting right, whereas the employer enjoys tax exemption in case of any share acquisition through an ESOP.

𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗮 stipulates that a share in a company may belong to multiple persons (share co-owners). They are obliged to appoint a proxy to participate on their behalf in general meetings of the company. In case of joint property of spouses entered as share capital, if they eventually become ex-spouses, it comes down to whether both of them are registered as owners or not.
