after the company registered in China,the legal representative or company shareholder can apply for the work permit.a small company can apply one or two work permit.different cities have different requirement for that.
normally,big city might be get one,small city might be get two or three.
the papers required:
police clearance certificate(PCC) notarized by Chinese embassy in your country,if you are in China now,you can consult with your local embassy first.

if you can do notarization on the local Chinese embassy,so that's better.
other required papers like working experience papers,personal resume,photo,etc.
for the first time,the visa office might only give you three months for changing to residence permit if you are hold T visa right now.after getting three months residence permit,we could apply working card for you with the government.
during such period,the local police will come around the office for normal inspection.it need to be make sure your office is running well,you are staying at office daytime,etc.
only you get working card,you can apply for longer residence permit later.

the company should pay the company income tax on time;
the company must hire at least one Chinese local staff or more and buy the staff's social insurance on time.
the company must pay the personal income tax on time.
when you apply for work permit and extend,you should promise that you will have the same salary after you got residence permit,it means you must pay salary income tax monthly under this promised salary level.

after you got work visa in China,how do the tax account and running company well
firstly,the company must keep report tax on time no matter what have profits or lost of your company;

some different cities require that the foreigner should buy the commercial medical insurance from the local insurance company if you need to apply longer residence permit.
if you don't have any local Chinese staff for social insurance.the government will require that you should hire one within three months,because the first time only get three month residence permit might be.

every month or every three months,it must pay some tax to the government.
every month need to download the company bank statements on the bank system keep as the business records.
every month must keep enough money into your company bank account.
if your passport expires,you need to be update the new passport on the tax Dep,bank,police station,etc.
it need to make sure you hire Chinese local staff in the company,and also pay the social insurance for him/her.
the Chinese staff must sign the labour contract according to the Chinese labour law.
each time you get your new visa,it must update at the local police station and get the new registration form.

if you have family staying with you,it need to prepare their papers before you come to china.
for the wife or husband,the marriage certificate must notarized by Chinese embassy and translate it into Chinese.
for the kids,the birth certificate must be notarized by Chinese embassy and do translate it into Chinese.if the kids are born in China,just show the Chinese birth certificate.
if the family person is out of China,they can apply S1 visa come to China with the company papers as well.
