🧡 6th Annual Orange Shirt Day Healing Walk & Pow Wow — Begins at 9:30 a.m. at Oodena Celebration Circle at The Forks National Historic Site. After the opening ceremony, the Healing Walk travels to Canada Life Centre, where the Pow Wow Grand Entry is at 1:00 p.m. This is hosted by the Southern Chiefs’ Organization and is specifically intended to honour residential school Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and support healing.

🧡 Orange Shirt Days at the Manitoba Museum — free admission and no tickets required. All-day programming about residential schools and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.

🧡 Sacred Fire at the Indigenous Peoples Garden — 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at The Leaf in Assiniboine Park. Visitors can participate in quiet reflection, with Indigenous educator Wayne Lalman sharing to***co teachings.

🧡 A Day of Learning and Reflection at FortWhyte Alive — 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with Indigenous-led programming focused on Indigenous history and culture. Admission is free, with donations accepted.

🧡 National Day for Truth & Reconciliation at the Children’s Museum — Family-focused programming at The Forks from roughly 1:00–4:00 p.m., including a reading of Phyllis's Orange Shirt, an Orange Shirt paper craft, Medicine Wheel colouring and a Community Promise activity.
