We're looking forward to celebrating the start of an amazing PBSC volunteer year this Friday, September 18th ✨

First, join us for our Launch Event in the common room from 12-1PM where you'll hear Karen Sharma's (Executive Director of the Manitoba Human Rights Commission) remarks on access to justice in Manitoba. Lunch will be provided by Feast Cafe Bistro.

Then, head over to the Moot Court Room from 1-3PM for our Mandatory training event & optional legal writing training with Heather Fast (Policy Advocacy Director at MB Eco-Network).

‼️PBSC Manitoba is thrilled to launch its project list for the 2026-2027 academic year! Interested in working with one of these fantastic partner organizations? Submit your application using the link to the Google form we sent to your student inbox, and keep your eyes peeled for offers when they go out next week! ⚖️

As a reminder, student volunteers are expected to work 3-5 hours a week from October-November, and then January-March. Student volunteers do not work in December or April, so you can focus on exams after working to broaden access to justice during the school year!
