On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families and their communities.
Today, our office is closed in observance of this important day.

En cette Journée Nationale de la Vérité et de la Réconciliation, nous rendons hommage aux enfants qui ne sont jamais rentrés chez eux, aux survivants des pensionnats, à leurs familles et à leurs communautés.

Standing here at the east-west midpoint of Canada, surrounded by the vast prairie landscape and endless skies, is a very special feeling. 🌾☀️

🇨🇦 Do you need a document notarized in Winnipeg, Manitoba?

Here is how to prepare for your visit:
Walk-ins are always welcome and we accommodate them whenever possible. As we also serve clients with scheduled appointments, we recommend contacting our office in advance to confirm availability and minimize your wait time.
Please bring the original document(s) requiring notarization.
Also, please bring non-expired valid government-issued photo identification, as we must verify your identity before witnessing your signature.
If your signature needs to be witnessed, please do not sign the document beforehand. You will normally sign it in the presence of the Notary Public.
Documents in languages other than English or French will be accepted, but a certified English or French translation of the document may be required.
If your document is intended for use outside Canada, an Apostille or other authentication after notarization may be required. We can assist you with the Apostille and authentication process.

A Coca-Cola truck just drove by my office.

Many of you wonder what I am doing at the office on weekends and during the summer.

To those who ask, I always reply: Don't we eat every day?

But today, something about that Coca-Cola truck caught my attention.

It carried a Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup advertisement, a soccer ball, and the words:

And on the back doors were two location pins marking two great Canadian cities: Toronto and Vancouver.

It made me smile.

Because that is exactly who we are.

We are Canada! 🟥🍁🟥

Our country is strong.

Our country is sovereign.

And when challenged, Canadians stand together.

Across generations, Canadians have worked at home and around the world to bring relief to those in need, peace to those surrounded by conflict, stability to those facing uncertainty, and freedom and dignity to the oppressed.

We may disagree among ourselves.

We may come from different provinces, different backgrounds and different walks of life.

But when it matters, we stand together as Canadians.

Our country was built upon principles of democracy, equality, freedom, peace, order and good government.

Those principles are worth protecting.

Our sovereignty is worth protecting.

Our country is worth standing up for.

We are strong.
We are united.
We are sovereign.

One mural in Winnipeg bringing so many cultures together. ❤️🌎

This beautiful Folklorama mural in Winnipeg's West End is more than just colourful artwork.

It is a celebration of the traditions, stories and communities that make our city culturally diverse.

Celebrating 55 years of Folklorama, this two-week festival brought people together to experience cultures from around the world through food, music, dance and community. 🎶🌎✨

The mural painted by Mandy van Leeuwen is a beautiful reminder that culture brings people together.

🇵🇹🇨🇦 Há lobos que guardam Winnipeg e houve Lobos que trouxeram o nome de Portugal até esta cidade.

As dez esculturas de lobos que se encontram ao longo da Chief Peguis Trail constituem um dos símbolos mais emblemáticos de Winnipeg e recordam-nos, de forma simbólica, a recente passagem da Selecção Nacional de Rugby de Portugal por Manitoba.

Uma feliz coincidência que une um dos ícones da cidade ao espírito de coragem, união, resiliência e determinação que caracterizam os Lobos. 🐺🏉

No nosso escritório, acreditamos que o desporto também fortalece os laços entre Portugal e o Canadá, reforçando a identidade da Diáspora Portuguesa e promovendo o orgulho nas nossas raízes.

Foi uma honra receber os Lobos em Winnipeg e recordar, uma vez mais, que Portugal está presente e bem representado além-fronteiras.

Agradeço à Federação Portuguesa de Rugby este gesto de elevada consideração, que simboliza a forte ligação entre o desporto nacional e a Diáspora Portuguesa espalhada pelo mundo.

Congratulo a Selecção Nacional "Os Lobos" pela vitória, exemplo de dedicação, espírito de equipa, resiliência e orgulho na representação de Portugal. 🐺🏉
