Join us at this in-person presentation and learn about:
👉 workplace sexual harassment, consent, and boundaries
👉 cultural misunderstandings that can arise in diverse workplaces
👉 rights and protections under the Manitoba Human Rights Code, including employer obligations and employee responsibilities.

Presented by SERC and CLEA, in partnership with the Winnipeg Public Library.

Did you know that employers in Manitoba must take a proactive approach to preventing sexual harassment in the workplace?

- All employers must have a harassment policy
- Employers must ensure the policy is followed
- The policy must be posted in a visible location in the workplace
- Employers must investigate any complaints brought to them
- Employers must keep complaints confidential
- Employers must not engage in reprisal against an employee who makes a complaint

Stop by our information table to learn about our free legal services and resources, including our Law Phone-In and Lawyer Referral line, and our hotline for people experiencing Sexual Harassment at work.

Pick up legal fact sheets for free on areas like family law, wills, worker's rights, and more. We will have fact sheets available in English, as well as some in Arabic, French, Hindi, Mandarin, Punjabi, Somali, and Spanish.
