We are so proud of these students! They just received an invitation to the Provincial Competition and need help funding the registration fee ($4000) and a broken robot part (RoboRio - $725). Can you help?

We won the Durham District event!!!! We want to thank our alliance who chose us to play with them! and .1285 - it was our honour to help!

We also had the privilege of winning the Rookie Inspiration Award - we are so blessed! We could not have done it without the countless teams that always made sure we were on the right path for success!

We are so excited to share that we have sponsored a competitive robotics team with , FRC #9621 - Team 9621 - Payload.

The FRC world is an exciting one! They start their build season as of January 6th when the game is released worldwide. Everyone starts building a robot that day and competes in their district events in March 2024 with provincial and worlds in Apr 2024. It is a short and crazy season.

FRC is unique for it's strive for team building and cooperation.

They need your help too! They have started a GoFundMe page to help pay for a robot cart, a battery cart and parts for their robot!

RE: LTB Update – Email Consolidation
---------------------------------------------------------
We are writing to inform you about our plan to consolidate all regional email addresses into one centralized email address.

This initiative will help us to modernize operations and improve our service delivery standards. It will enable the LTB to streamline processes and to respond to inquiries in a more efficient manner, including ensuring that urgent submissions and file-specific inquiries are properly prioritized. This will also help minimize confusion among parties about which email address to use when contacting the LTB.

Effective July 10, 2023, parties can use [email protected] to contact the LTB. Emails sent to the regional email addresses on or after July 10, 2023, will receive an email bounce-back advising them that their email has not been received by the LTB and directing them to resend their email to [email protected].

We continue to encourage users to use the Tribunals Ontario Portal to upload evidence and submissions for their LTB file or to submit requests instead of using email. Using the portal will ensure your casefile is updated in real time and allows the LTB to address your requests in a timely way.

If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Sincerely,
Ian Speers Lindiwe Bridgewater

RE: LTB Virtual Hearing Technical Support Line
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today, the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) launched a virtual hearing technical support line for troubleshooting technical issues users may face while joining their hearing on Zoom.

Hearing participants who have technical issues on the day of their hearing can email [email protected] , or call 416-212-9064 (toll-free 866-769-7865). Staff will help the participant join their hearing.

When a hearing participant calls for support, they will be asked to leave a brief voice message explaining the issue they are experiencing and provide their phone number. Staff will return the call promptly. Responses to emails will also be prompt. We are asking that hearing participants call this number or send an email to this address only if they have a technical issue joining Zoom on the day of their hearing. Any other issue will not be addressed, and parties should refer to LTB’s LTB: Contact the LTB | Tribunals Ontario for the appropriate ways to get in touch with us.

The support line will be monitored Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Details on the support line will be included in Notice of Hearing packages beginning on April 19.

Response times may be slower than optimum during the initial launch phase as we learn the new system and better understand call volumes. Rest assured that we will be monitoring performance to constantly improve and as always, we welcome your feedback regarding your user experience and any suggestions for improvements.

We are excited about the launch of the technical support line. As we continue to work on improving our services, the support line is one more way in which we are ensuring access to justice for those who come before our tribunal.

Sincerely,
Ian Speers Lindiwe Bridgewater
Associate Chair Acting Registrar
