There’s a new penalty if you are convicted of stunt driving.

As of April 1, 2022, the province has added another penalty for those convicted of stunt driving.

If convicted, you must complete a driver improvement course or your driver’s license will be cancelled.

In response to a number of community concerns, our 1 District (St. Catharines) officers will be conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Welland Canals Parkway and Wilfrid Laurier Crescent.

We encourage all Niagara residents to drive according to the rules of the road. Accidents happen quickly and can be avoided with a little extra care and attention while driving.

New Stunt Driving Regulations change as per midnight tonight~ roadside driver’s license suspensions under section 172 of the HTA will increase from seven (7) to thirty (30) days for all stunt driving offences!

Ontario has reinstated renewal deadlines for all products that would have expired on or after March 1, 2020, including:
• driver’s licences
• licence plate stickers
• Ontario Photo Cards and health cards
