My posts are often about my work but life happens outside of that too and some days things are tough. Today we celebrated the life of my dearest friend, Natalie. She was a gift to me, and to every person she met.
She had a way of putting others first and making them feel loved. Her sweet spot was little people. The kids she came in contact with are better people because of her.

Natalie had a fantastic sense of humour and her appreciation for pranks and fun brought joy so often.

Early on in my career I showed the house across the street from hers and proceeded to tell my first time homebuyer clients how great the neighbourhood was. As I locked up my client asked “does THAT happen frequently?” I looked up to see my entire car toilet papered. I forgave her. The buyers bought the house….so that helped. 😉

Natalie, I will miss our deep and transparent conversations. I will miss your “checking in” texts. I will miss your crafty gifts showing up on my doorstep, our impromptu walks, and shared Billy Miner pie. I am a better person of you. I’m grateful your pain is over…. But sheesh, I’m really going to miss you. ❤️
