✨ Kayla McCall: Excited to be stepping into the role of Co-President of Laurier Pre-Law Society. Looking forward to building on the strong foundation already in place while continuing to expand opportunities for students interested in law. Grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead!

✨ Evronia Hanna: As I step into my role as Co-President of the Laurier Pre-Law Society, I’m excited to help build a strong, supportive community for students passionate about law. My goal is to create meaningful opportunities, foster connections, and inspire others to pursue their path in the legal field.

We’re excited to welcome Rema Aljajeh, Paralegal, Partner & Co-Founder of R&R Law LLP, to our Careers in Law panel!

Rema practices Canadian immigration law, focusing on corporate and family-based immigration. She assists companies, individuals, and entrepreneurs with work permits, permanent residence applications, and strategic immigration planning. She is a licensed paralegal, notary public, and a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario.

Rema earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the Arab Open University in Saudi Arabia and completed her Paralegal program at Centennial College in Toronto. She is known for her practical, solutions-driven approach and for building long-term client relationships based on trust, clarity, and results.

We’re excited to welcome Rebecca Godinho, Partner & Co-Founder of R&R Law LLP, to our Careers in Law panel!

Rebecca practices Canadian immigration law, focusing on corporate and family-based immigration. She helps companies, individuals, and entrepreneurs with work permits, permanent residence applications, and strategic immigration planning. She is also a barrister, solicitor, notary public, and a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester in the UK and a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University. Her path to law was shaped by leadership roles, community involvement, and stepping outside her comfort zone, experiences that continue to guide how she supports clients and mentors aspiring legal professionals.

🎙️ Meet Our Panelists: Careers in Law 2026

We’re excited to welcome Jeff Boich, Legal Counsel at Family and Children’s Services of Waterloo Region, to our Careers in Law panel!

Jeff practices in family and child protection law and has litigated hundreds of trial days and dozens of appeals before all levels of court in Ontario.

He holds a B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University and earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Jeff also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Political Science Department at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he has taught Legal Studies courses since 2017.

In 2025, Jeff received the Donald F. Morgenson Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence in the Sustained Excellence (Part-Time) category.

Outside of his legal work, Jeff volunteers as the faculty advisor and coach for Laurier Moot Court, which has won eight moot championships since 2017, including the 2024 national championship. He also volunteers with Mock Trial Laurier and the University of Waterloo Moot.
