Meet Emily 🤝
Our in-house Marketing Officer, resident cheerleader and master editor.
The latter was honed in Northern BC when she worked for a CBC affiliate news station, covering the entire Peace Region.

Here’s a few pictures of her on-camera, which was maybe 1% of the job, 99% of the time she was her own camera person, conducting interviews, then editing visual mediums into tv segments, and audio for the radio pieces that aired daily.

She also hosted the early morning radio show- the job started at 3:30 am and she often didn’t wrap until after 5 pm. The hours were grueling, the pay lacklustre, the seasons harsh, but you can’t put a price on life experience and mastering a skillset.

Did we mention this is where she bought her first house, single, in her 20s 🫡
