I’m of the opinion that the BC Government isn’t doing enough to assist first-time home buyers. What is stopping the government from increasing the threshold to $750,000, which is currently the threshold that is used for the newly built home exemption to property transfer tax. EVEN if it’s that person’s 10th+ purchase!
