Every Saturday in August and September, these short sessions will dive into fascinating topics like snakes, freshwater ecology, and the creatures that call the Okanagan home.

Curiosity is one of the best ways to connect with the natural world around us and these kinds of experiences reminder us that learning doesn’t only happen inside a classroom. Sometimes the best lessons happen surrounded by the landscapes and wildlife that make our region special.

The 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗻 & 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 is currently hosting the 23rd annual 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 & 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚, which celebrates the creativity and talents of people living with mental illness.

This meaningful event provides an opportunity to view and purchase artwork while supporting artists and helping create more understanding around mental health within our community.

I love seeing local events that create space for creativity, inclusion, and connection. These are the moments that help make Vernon a community where people feel seen and supported.

Downsizing is rarely just about moving into a smaller footprint; it is about creating a lifestyle you truly love. This recent purchase is a significant milestone for my clients as they transition from their long time family home into a beautifully downsized space.
