We are proud to announce that Julia Vilorio Peguero, Imtiaz Hosein, and Adam Kuciej have been named Partners at Campisi Law.

These three lawyers are not new to this firm or to this work. They have each spent years here, representing injured Ontarians through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and doing it with the kind of care and commitment our clients deserve.

Julia brings a dual Canadian and American legal background to her exclusive personal injury practice, and was recognized in both the 2025 and 2026 editions of Best Lawyers in Canada for Personal Injury. She serves clients in English, Arabic, and Spanish.

Imtiaz has represented catastrophically injured and disabled clients in tort and accident benefits and is known for his principled and tenacious advocacy. He leads our student and articling programs and is advancing systemic litigation in Ontario's courts on behalf of accident victims province-wide.

Adam practices exclusively in personal injury, disability, and medical malpractice law. He has argued cases at every level of Ontario's court system and is a past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association's Insurance Section.

Please join us in congratulating Julia, Imtiaz, and Adam on this well-deserved recognition.

Mary was stopped in traffic when she was rear-ended. The damage to her vehicle looked modest.

That became the argument: the damage was minor, so the injuries must be too.
But what the photographs showed and what Mary was living with were two entirely different things. Her injuries were real. They just were not visible in pictures of a bumper. Her legal team, Imtiaz Hosein and Christos Kakaletris, built the case around that gap: documenting her limitations, securing expert evidence, and preparing for trial so the full picture of her life could not be set aside.

The result was not a surprise. It was the outcome of years of disciplined preparation.
If your injuries are being minimized because the property damage looked modest, contact our team to request a consultation.

What does it truly mean to be there for someone? This Brain Injury Awareness Month, we're reminded that great legal advocacy goes far beyond the courtroom, it shows up in the hardest, most human moments of a person's life.

We’re proud to recognize our legal team, who supported a client and his wife, Catlina, through an unimaginable experience following a catastrophic brain injury sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

“My husband was in a devastating car accident while he was in the United States. He sustained a catastrophic brain injury and fell into a coma. In the midst of my despair, I turned to Campisi Law for help. From the very beginning, I felt a tremendous weight lift off my shoulders. They handled every detail with expertise and compassion, arranging an air ambulance to bring my husband back to Canada and promptly opening an accident benefit claim so I could receive the necessary treatment.

Throughout this challenging journey, the team at Campisi Law stood by my side, providing unwavering support and guidance. Their dedication, care, and professionalism gave me the strength to focus on my husband's recovery. I am forever grateful for the help, love, and support I received from Campisi Law. They truly made a difference during one of the most difficult times in our lives.”

Moments like this reflect the heart of what we do, standing beside clients when they need it most and ensuring they are never alone in the process.

Brain injury doesn't always look like what you'd expect.

For many Canadians, the impacts are invisible: cognitive challenges, emotional shifts, fatigue, isolation. Real, but can be hard to see.
This June, we're helping bring that reality to light.

165,000 Canadians experience a traumatic brain injury every year. Greater awareness means better support, better understanding, and less stigma.

A family from out of town spends three months in Toronto after a serious accident. Hotel bills, missed work, meals. Under Ontario's current system, those costs were covered. After July 1, they won't be.

Most Ontarians don't know what they're about to lose.
Starting July 1, benefits that have always been part of your standard auto policy: income replacement, visitor expenses, caregiver support, become optional add-ons. If you haven't specifically asked for them, you may not have them at renewal.

Talk to your broker. Read your policy. Don't find out what's missing after an accident.
And if you have questions about accident benefits, injury claims, or your legal options following a motor vehicle accident, our team is here to help.

Did you know that Catastrophic Impairment (CAT) isn't always visible?

Catastrophic Impairment goes beyond physical trauma. Brain injuries can affect how you think, feel, move, and connect with the world around you. And every single one of them deserves recognition.

This Brain Injury Awareness Month, we're standing alongside survivors, families, caregivers, and advocates across Canada to push for real change, in how we understand, support, and talk about brain injury.

We’re grateful to C. Dolgor for sharing her experience with Imtiaz and the Campisi team.

At Campisi LLP, we remain committed to providing steady guidance, patience, and support throughout every stage of a client’s legal journey, especially during long and complex cases.

“Campisi law firm helped me to settle a six years long case. They were diligent and assisted me for both SABS and Tort matter successfully. My lawyer Imtiaz and his assistant Tracy supported me all through the way and advocated for my best interest, standing with me during a difficult period dealing with multiple insurance companies. Imtiaz and Tracy were compassionate, highly professional, dedicated and patient. They truly supported me with legal guidance as well as psychological and emotional support after a traumatic car accident.”

We sincerely appreciate this feedback and the trust placed in our team.

You're not suing the person who hurt you—you're filing a claim with their insurance company. That's literally what insurance exists for. Don't let guilt stop you from getting the medical care and compensation you deserve. Their premiums already covered this situation.
