Learning, networking, and a little Okanagan sunshine? ☀️ Count us in!

The Crossroads team attended the 2026 National Family Law Program in Kelowna for a week of insightful sessions and discussions with family law professionals across Canada.

The conference offered valuable perspectives on current family law topics, giving our team new ideas and practical takeaways to bring back to our practice.

It was also a great opportunity for our Calgary and Vancouver team to spend time together outside the office and enjoy everything Kelowna had to offer.

A big thank you to the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and all the incredible speakers and volunteers who made this year such a fantastic experience!

A marriage ends. A parenting plan falls apart. A future you counted on looks different. That's when people find us.

In a recent three-year span, more than 850,000 people across Canada faced a serious family breakdown or custody dispute they couldn't easily resolve. Almost every one of them was carrying far more than the legal problem itself.

That's the part of family law we think about most. The weight behind questions that look simple on paper. And the field is changing faster than ever. There's a new legal claim for harm between partners, AI is reshaping how legal help is delivered, and clients today know more and expect more. Quality legal service comes down to whether it meets people in their reality or adds to the weight they're already carrying.

Canadian Lawyer has named Crossroads Law as the 2026 Top Family Law Team, and we're proud of it. Even more, we're grateful to every client who chose us to help them through it. This is one calendar invite we never miss! 🤠

Our Calgary team turned out in full western wear for the annual CBA Whoop-Up, kicking off Stampede season in style with line dancing and bowling.

The cornbread and mini donuts were a particular highlight because, let's be honest, it wouldn't be Stampede without great food.

A big thank you to the Calgary Bar Association for hosting another memorable evening and giving us the excuse to get together with friends and colleagues from across the bar.
