Sadly, our most vulnerable are not spared from abuse and neglect. Elder abuse, including physical and financial abuse, is a widespread issue in Canada.

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. At Hammerco Lawyers we stand with seniors and those committed to ending abuse and suffering of our elders. We commend and support the work of leading organizations such as the Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (CNPEA) and Seniors First BC.
